2015 Edition

Impressions of the jam

What is a service jam?

Copenhagen Service Jam is a part of Global Service Jam, a global event that will run on February 27th to March 1st 2015. During that weekend, people who are interested in creativity and service design collaborate together to come up with service concepts, using service design thinking toolkits.

Copenhagen Service Jam is open for around 40 creativity and service design enthusiasts. You'll be working with people you might never have met before, bouncing ideas off one another and building on what bounces back. People all over the world are Jamming around the same theme, sharing insights and support globally. And it's not just talking - you are here to turn your ideas into a concrete design, prototype and plan of action which you or somebody else might want to make real.

Why join?

Copenhagen Service Jam provides you with the opportunity to connect and work together with like-minded people from diverse backgrounds. So no, you don't have to be a service designer to be join the event, as long as you have passion in creativity and have an open, enquiring mind.

As a participant, you will go through the whole design process in one weekend. This gives you the opportunity to shape a concept from nothing to something, and possibly experiment with methods that you normally don't use in daily setting.

What is even cooler is you get the chance to have your concepts reviewed by experts within the area, and have them presented to the world.
